“People always think that the most painful thing in life is losing the one you value. The truth is, the most painful thing is losing yourself in the process of valuing someone too much and forgetting that you are special too.” Anonymous
As much as the 21st Century has influenced the power of women across the globe, there is an increase of women who do not recognize their worth. Even a modern professional woman may be abused, cheated on and emotionally traumatized by their partners. It is important as Women of Prayer to safe guard our hearts from emotional stress and heartbreaks. It is time to realize your self- worth , build your self esteem and value yourself. In the book of Genesis 29:17-30 we read about the love story of Jacob and Rachel, the man worked for 7 years for the woman he loved. If we look at this period of time and compare it with the time we are in now, this kind of love may seem impossible but in truth it exist. The question is are there women in this world who are able to be valued and loved like Rachel? Proverbs 31:10-30 demonstrates in detail a virtuous lady, the attributes of this woman are only possible with the presence of the Holy Spirit. This is the mystery which is only known and available to the children of God who boldly confess that Christ is in them, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27). I urge you to resist from the present "normal" life of "staying with my boyfriend", that way you sell yourself cheap because many a time the guy will end up de-valuing you and cheating on you yet you have spent a long time together without any marriage talks on the table. Remember, 1 Corinthians 6: 13...Now the body is NOT for fornication but for the Lord and the Lord for the body...on verse 18 the bible says Flee fornication. What is to flee? This is a verb means it involves action right, its simply telling you to run away from a place or situation of danger. Please take time to think of all the bad things which come from fornication namely diseases, unwanted pregnancies, disjointed families, stress to mention a few. The bible says in Romans 12 : 1...that we should present our bodies as living sacrifice , holy and acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Lets not allow sin to limit the power of God working in us but we should resist the devil and he will flee from us. In that way the power of God will work in us mightily according to Ephesians 3:20 Now unto Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ever ask or think according to the power that work in us. Yes , often people read that scripture without finishing the last part hence it is necessary to allow the power of God to work in you mightily.
Now is the time to sit down with the Lord , Isaiah 1:18 He said come lets reason together , though your sins maybe as scarlet , they shall be as white as snow, though they be red like crimson , they shall be as wool. The Lord loves us and daily He loads us with divine blessings and His mercies are new every morning. Nothing will ever separate us from the love of the Lord. He says call unto me and I will answer thee and show you great an mighty things which you do not know Jeremiah 33:3.

Do I know my self-worth?
Have I settled into accepting things that are not good / meant for me?
What is the Holy Spirit saying to me?
Do I now know my self-worth as a child of God?
