Do you sometimes feel like giving up on your marriage? I know that I have felt like giving up at least once in my marriage. Every married couple needs encouragement for marriage because it is not easy. Some may seriously be contemplating divorce, while others just need a little reminder of why marriage is so important.Thanks to one of the women of prayer who allowed us to share her testimony. We will call her Mary. Mary had been happily married for 10 years until her marriage came under attack by the enemy. Her husband had an extramarital affair with a coworker and became very distant.He was now very moody, always shouting at her and the kids,became very irritable , there was no intimacy, he stopped date night, very secretive with his finances and whereabouts and after some time he stopped coming home every night till he announced that he was not happy with Mary anymore and had decided to separate from her and the kids whilst trying to figure things out. Really and truly we should always pray (Thessalonians 5:17 ) and not only pray when bad things happen but Mary says this was a wake-up call for her and decided to pray for her marriage. She decided to put down everything that was wrong with the marriage and went into the Word of God and looked for a Bible verse that encountered that issue for example Mark 10:9 what God has put together let no man put asunder. So she meditated on the Bible verse and used that as a prayer point and there is nothing better than praying the word of God. So for example Mary would say “as the word of God says in Mark 10:9 what God has put together let no man put asunder Holy Ghost remove every third-party from my marriage right now in the name of Jesus ,fight for me as I am the rightful partner of this man and we have taken vows in your sight Lord fight for me."
Who can fight God? absolutely nobody and God cannot go back on His Word.Mary prayed without ceasing , morning , afternoon , evening and woke up in the midnight hour to pray religiously. As she was praying she later learned that her husband‘s mistress was not sleeping well because every time Mary was praying , God was knocking on her conscience , she had to tell the man that she kept seeing his wife in her dreams asking her why she was destroying her marriage. Because of prayer Mary’s Husband later in told Mary that he began to be disgusted by his girlfriend's sight and he began to realise that the affair was a trap set to destroy his marriage and his destiny. He had moved from a loving home into a shared house with a woman that he now couldn’t stand, He asked for forgiveness from His wife and kids and He went back home. He resigned from his job and began a trucking business with his wife. They pray together as a family now and take turns to preach to one other every week from the youngest to the oldest,their family life was restored and their business booming.Glory be to God. It shouldn’t take an issue to happen to be a family that prays. Remember a family that prays together stays together.This testimony is just to encourage you that with prayer you can have your marriage restored.Jeremiah 32:17, “Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:”
WHAT TO PRAY ABOUT CONCERNING YOUR MARRIAGE
1.Pray that you would see and know that marriage comes from God and its purpose is to glorify Him.
2. Pray for forgiveness to reign in your marriage.
3.Pray that you and your spouse would be a covenant keepers in your marriage.
4.Pray that you and your spouse would submit to one another in your marriage and not insist on your own rights.
5. Pray that you would be sanctified more so that you might look more like Christ.
God I pray that you would bless our marriage bed.
6.. Pray that the fruit of your marriage would be physical/adopted and/or spiritual children.
7.Pray that the glory of God would be displayed in your marriage for a watching and lost world.
8.Pray your marriage will be full of enjoyment, laughter and a deep friendship.
9.Pray for reconciliation and restoration of my broken marriage (If you are divorced, or physically or emotionally separated, this prayer is for you. If by grace you are not, then pray for a friend who is in this place.)
10.Pray for God to reveal the issues in your self and in your partner and help you to sort that out in a godly manner.

3.Lord Jesus I invite You to come to my aid in every difficult situation in my marriage right now.
4. Lord bring peace, harmony, unity, communication, romance ,love,joy,peace, happiness, financial blessing between me and my husband or wife in the name of Jesus .
5.Any strange woman or man that is coming between me and my husband/wife Lord remove them right now in the name of Jesus.
6.Let confusion fall upon every extra marital relationship my partner is having in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
7.I command angels of God to go and disconnect every relationship between my husband or wife with any strange woman or man in the name of Jesus.
8.Every evil pronouncement, saying, mention, statement, judgement ,that has been said against me and my husband about our marriage be nullified right now by the blood of Jesus.
9.Lion of Judah destroy every evil power that is speaking evil against my marriage in the name of Jesus Christ.
10.God of Abraham,Isaac and Jacob create a new heart in my husband or wife and restore the joy of our marriage in the name of Jesus.
11.Blood of Jesus flow into the foundation of my marital life and give it a new lease of life by the power in Jesus’ Name.

49. Lord enter our marriage and bless it , ordain it and let nothing and no one put it asunder.Touch our hearts and bring to remembrance the love we shared and the covenant and vows we made before You.
